NEW MEXICO
Senate Bill 162
Entities Affected: Various
New Mexico SB 162 was signed by the governor on March 15, 2019. The bill requires certain business entities to confirm that the entity has resigned as a registered agent or is not currently a registered agent for any entity registered in New Mexico in order to be eligible for dissolution.. WEST VIRGINIA
Senate Bill 669
Entities Affected: Various
West Virginia SB 669 was signed by the governor on March 25, 2019. The bill authorizes the West Virginia Secretary of State to appoint notaries as a commissioner to acknowledge signatures performed in or out of West Virginia by persons residing in or out of the state covering deeds, leases, and other writings pertaining to West Virginia property for recordation in the state. The bill will become effective June 7, 2019. View the bill text.
