Attention Delaware Business Filers: The Delaware Division of Corporations is planning an early closure on Friday, September 27, 2024, to host an off-site Employee Recognition Event. They will be entirely unavailable after 11:30 a.m. Eastern - meaning that the state will be closing eleven hours early.
Delaware business filing services will be affected as follows:
- Customers can obtain the file date of Sept. 27th, however, no evidence will be returned after 11:30 a.m. Eastern.
- Delaware will not be offering Same Day service on Friday, Sept. 27th.
- September 27th can be used as a future effective date.
The availability of the following services will remain unchanged on September 27, 2024:
- Good Standings, Certified Copies, and Plain Copies are available as usual.
- Ability to reserve names, and pay franchise/LLC/LP tax will not be affected by the closure.
