Several states have new business legislation taking effect during the month of August. Please see below for summaries of the laws that will go into effect in Arizona, Colorado, Delaware and North Dakota.

A recent internal audit at the California Secretary of State's office has concluded that the state has been incorrectly applying statutory fees to certified document requests. As a result, the state will be changing the way they charge
